    ok so now i just installed the homebrew channel and nothing else, now if i get a new version like 3.5U or something more, will my wii brick?

    now, since i looked at some other videos and forums, just wan to make sure on this, can i now install the code manager for ocarina without doing the other things?

    please answer these 2 questions and thanks again

    i don't know for these, you will have to ask for help at the forums you found the guides you are about to use. you will not brick if you update, but your homebrew may be unusable.

    Not completely true, if you were on 4.0 or 4.1 and then downgraded to 3.2 and insert a disc with the 3.4 update and accept it you will brick since 4.0 installs a stub IOS50 which the system menu cannot run of off and the disc will detect a newer IOS50 and wouldn't install the working one.

    so what do you guys suggest me doing then? i just don't want a bricked wii, if not now, then the update will brick the wii later on?

    Just don't update only originals will ask you to update to 3.4, you dont have to worry about wifi updates since the latest is 4.1

    so i am ok then since i don't have internet for my wii?, don't intend getting the wifi thing

    Yes and you can even have your wifi set up once your wiiconnect24 isn't on you should be fine.

    i was doing my research (to show that i am really trying) and found that if you load the gekko OS in, that the date and time will screw up, is this true?
