    Need help installing wads... IOS60

Okay so I ran the IOS60 patch wad so that I can run wads off my SD card. It worked, but now when I go to the Wad Installer Channel (Either 1.3 or 1.4) I can't install wads. In 1.3 it says I'm running IOS36 and that's the default in 1.4 as well. What do I change my IOS to in 1.4?

I don't see an option for IOS249 or whatever it's called. Just 4,9-17,20-22,28,30-31,33-38,50-51,53,55,60, and 61.

I haven't tried all those options, but I have tried IOS36, 60, and 61. None of them work... What am I supposed to do? Also, my error message is -2011 but oddly it's -1029 when I run IOS60.

Any help would be appreciated... I don't really understand the whole "IOS" thing.

Try running waninkoko's 4.1 update. Just a guess, but I ran that immediately after the IOS60 patch and all is well here.

Thanks, I will do some research on that and try it.

The tutorial is pretty much step by step.

After completion of the tutorial you can install any further cIOS you wish. You'll have your IOS249.

Okay now there's something up again. It will try to install the WAD.... and it will do so... But it will freeze on one of the contents. For instance, I installed Wave Race 64, and it stopped on Installing Content #03. I let it sit for like 15 minutes... And nothing happened. I was forced to unplug my Wii. I'm trying a different game... And it's stuck as well.

    What do I do?

I think 15 minutes is a bit long. It normally hangs for a while on one of the numbers, maybe 2-3 minutes.

Try a smaller wad, like a NES or old Sega wad to test there's nothing amiss.

I tested an NES wad, and also a wad I had previously installed. It keeps freezing on that content thing. Something is amiss.
