    Banner Bricked?

So I installed a NyxQuest WAD on my Wii via the Wad Manager and now it freezes at the Health & Safety Hazard Screen. Is there any way to fix this?

    • I don't have a Mod Chip installed.
    • I have 3.2U installed with HomeBrew.

Load preloader, hbc and wad manager and remove the offending wad.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Would I need preloader installed prior to this incident?

Yes. Call me clarivoyant but I'm sensing you didn't have preloader installed beforehand did you?

Anyway unless you have cIOScorp installed, which again I doubt, you'll need to autoboot a disc update, let's say 3.4 (Punchout, WSR, Conduit etc) using the recovery console.

You will require a modchip installed and you will require a modded GC controller or dance mat to press up, down, left, right on the D pad at power on.

You will find more info on the few banner brick tutorials we have here on Wiihacks.

Yeah, I didn't have preloader installed prior to this incident, unfortunately. So I'm pretty much messed up until I get a modchip.

    Thanks for your time
