    audio issues

I have MPlayer Agent X installed and operating, but I am having an issue where the audio is very loud for the music but dialog is quiet. Does anybody else have this issue? and is there a fix?
    Thanks

Did to try more than one DVD, to rule out the soundmix by the folks who mastered it?

Can't get Mplayer CE working with 4.2U

Hello, this is my first time posting and I tried reading many of the posts to see if I could find a solution but after trying many different things, I am now confused. I have been working on this for the past week.

I can open mplayer but when I click on open DVD it starts saying it is mounting but then those words go away and it doesn't say anything and nothing happens. I have to use B to get out and back to the menu.

I installed dvdx and it said everything was successful.

Any ideas? My kids are dying to watch dvd's and this is my only option. Will mplayer play avi files? some people say yes. Is it the same?

    Thanks

Thanks for the wiimc advice. It worked for avi files but it still gave me an disc read error. Maybe I didn't install dvdx correctly? I did what was asked and it said success?
