Help with V0.3 Backup Launcher gamma

Ok here is the deal I used Trucha bug restorer to install the cIOS rev 38 R13 (used this guide [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]), Then I got the backup launcher V0.3 and downloaded a test game (Castlevania Judgement)and it recognized the game ID but and you think it's l loading but then you get "Disc cannot be read please refer to your wii operation manual for details" Then when I take it out it says "Please put Castlevania Judgement disc in wii drive" so it does read it, why isn't it loading. I am using a DVD-R but the game just doesn't boot, can someone please assit me? Thanks in advance.

1x is too slow - you will get errors on some burners at low speeds, you should be burning at 4x-8x ideally, also use neogamma r6/cios13a for loading your backups, 0.3 gamma won't handle the new 002 errors.

I tried Neo gamma and I got it to work when I burned at 2x but after the 3rd -4th match it stopped loading and gave me that error (Disc cannot be read). I used imgburn since nero and alcohol made 2 coasters. The disc I am using are philips DVD-R so maybe the brand doesn't do it any suggestions? talk about wasting money....oh well.

One last question though, I got the neogamma that came out I believe the 20th of june?, is there a newer version or is that it? Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions

NeoGamma R6 is a newer version, use the search box, Dogeggs posted a version of it here on the forum. Try burning at 4X, don't have any CPU robbing processes running, and don't multitask. Verbaitm -R is recommended, but any brand should work.

Found gamma 6, tried it. However the loader shows the Game-ID and the type it is.then the screeen flashes brown and starts loading it and then after about a minute I get "Game can't be read please refer to your wii operations manual" Both games I got do this and it's highly fustrating because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. it's like game loads but won't run. Very odd. I burned 5 coasters trying to some of the games i acquired to run at all but it refuses to work. I have a Phillips DVD-R...Any more suggestions? I am starting to get discouraged. I have IOS 249 and used the dogeggs methoid with trucha bug.

Thanks man. I'll see if I can find some for the cheap online somewhere. No one around here carries that brand but I've heard of em. Since you are the main guy around this site that has good knowledge, I'll trust that's the brand I should purchase. Philips is great for movies btw
