Dear Bell , From your words , I think u have almost EVERY game on wii ?
Because not all games are 4 GB , Also there may some (BORING) games u may delete , right ?
Anyway if you want to use two partitions (WBFS , & FAT or NTFS) at the same time , it's recommended to buy a larger capacity ,
BTW , I don't like to buy those LARGE storages cuz they may suddenly ruin all your Data , And GOOD BYE my HDD !!! , especially which has an Adapter
Oh I forgot , the only bad thing in my drive (maybe in ALL drives) is heating , it becomes really hot after playing about an hour , is this normal or what (of course it isn't normal but what do u think ?)

LaCie Hard Disk 1TB Neil Poulton Design %100 Working
LaCie Desktop Hard Disk 1TB Neil Poulton Design %100 Working with the Wii! I am running the FULL 1T. No Partitions. Formated to FAT32. I am running on an NTSC 3.3U. I formated the Hard Drive again to WBFS with Wannikko's USB Loader 1.5. Now formated to WBFS. You can run many different USB Loaders from Homebrew or by a wii channel/forwarder! I am using The Configurable USB Loader 4.1. I start the application! Mounts very fast! The Wii now can smoothly copy and play games that you own directly to and from the Lacie Hard Drive. Ripping games takes Ruffly 4 minutes a gig! Games are mostly small and copy very fast! Quick booting. Very user friendly. Must use the Left USB port (Closest to the Corner)! IOS38 rev 13 DOSN'T WORK, I had to update to Custom IOS38 rev 14. If your not sure what IOS your on, Check on the bottom of the screen in the neo gamma loader, it should say what CIOS your system is using!! This information is not intended for piracy!! backups are made of the originals, and the originals stored in the loft incase of scratching, fingerprints or other miscellaneous damage. I own a RETAIL COPY of all backups that I make. This is provided for general discussion of and help with Wii homebrew and Wii hacking!!
ok, I have read allt he post of this guide my budget is 100 bucks or less i want a good external hard drive for my wii,
I have learned that the small HDD takes energy of my wii
where as a desktop external hard drive which is slightly bigger has its own power suplly, thus making it less of a workload for the wii.
Which one would you guys recomend me I was thinking of this but i am not sure
(desktop one )

If you really want to save on cash, the easiest way is to just buy a drive and external enclosure seperately. I purchased a 640GB WD drive for $55 and a $5 external enclosure, both on eBay. Works fine with the Wii.
I have a wd 1200 in a generic external enclosure and it works great
i paid 110 for mine and it works great it is a 1tb played on it for mths now and never had a problem i just softmoded a 4.0v and now it works great it is the 2nd wii i have softmoded and works great with every game even the new mario game and alot of games that i have been seeing ppl have trouble with so if you need any help just ask

I paid £58 for a 320GB 2.5 Intel External hard drive, it works perfectly, so fast and has no problems what-so-ever! It's probably one of the best and most unkown hard drives i have purchased to date, i did a google search but so far no good, can't find any information on it.
I'm gonna list it in the GBA-temp when i have the time.
Just look at my sig for my setup, I actually have a variable 5v adaptor but it doesn't need it, just a USB cable to the Wii and all the games I want. I store my Music, and Xvids on there too. Nice when you get more out of a product than it was designed to do :-)
Best Hard Drive for the Wii!!
1t Lacie with the same blue light as the wii!!! Looks fresh and works like a champion! I'm about to order another one. Just about filled up! Can anybody guess how many games it holds? lol
Ive got a Seagate Expansion 500gb, its 3.5 and so runs off mains.
Not had a problem yet
I partitioned it as 400gb for wii (if I had read a bit more about the games been stripped down id have probably only used 300gb tbh.
The remainder is Fat32 for pc isos etc that were cluttering my pc's two small drives ..200gb and 120gb.
I picked it up on offer for £45 ....reduced from £60 at PCWorld.
If you are in the UK its worth searching Hotukdeals.com as a lot of deals both internet and highstreet get posted there.
