The population is about 103,000 right about know so that means 99.9% of the people don't know how to do this. Yet 10% of them know how to do a psp.
well everyone knows hacking on the PSP is so popular xD and anyways at least Wii hacking isn't very well known otherwise Nintendo would pull a "Sony" on us, releasing new hardware model with more security onto it so nothing would work properly. Anyways whats the point when Nintendo are making so much money not to give in and donate to their fund to keep making great games 3 times over

Thats why everyone hacks the PSP, because Sony try TOO hard to block and when we hack the Wii Nintendo just smugly releases an update to brick the consoles. Their smarter in my opinion because then we have to wait a few more days before can update but the only people who update are strange people or if the update contains something that is actually USEFUL for those people in question.

Nintendo would never b allowed to use an update to brick a console as it is illegal, and they would get sued. Multiple times.

They could just say you violated the terms and conditions and all that and say its your fault your consoles bricked.. just like the xbox360 protection where if your hardwares modded or the cd drives out when you log onto live youll be banned by your serial number

they can ban you, but the thing is, bricking the console is just down right illegal. no ifs or buts.

Like you said people will only update if there is something in the update they really want but there already is an app to update and keep our homebrew (Waninkoko's Firmware Updater)
