Man. Nintendo is always one step behind when it comes to exploits. The moment the Twilight Hack was blocked (after many attempts) Bannerbomb came out. Then Bannerbomb looks like it is going to be removed and out comes this exploit =)

the ssbb exploit cannot be removed withiu re releasing a patched version of the game, which they won't do. Plus, all the old copies will be unpatched.

That or they make a patch to release over WFC which MANY people will avoid obviously because they dont want their Wii screwed up by Nintendo's crappy updates, if they can do that anyways, probably not considering the WFC by many people is considered ineffective in stopping their plans in world domination (or hacking their wii as they intended to without bricking it) so probably the easier idea is to make a new version with "exclusive" extras (PSO 1 & 2 Plus comes to mind here) and patch it that way, or make ONM give out an update disc with a copy of their magazine (in the UK ONM is Nintendo Power but called Official Nintendo Magazine) so probably, they can but won't patch it because Nintendo are lazy and have too much money and most people they think don't break the terms and conditions of the wii laws or whatever

I know this is a bit off topic, but if i were head of Nintendo, i would allow all these hacks as they are one of the main reasons people buy a wii. I, though I would just brick wii's that are illegally downloading games.
P.S. Since I am one of those people maybe i wouldn't...

it is definitely not the reason people buy a wii. it is so teh ycan play games. 99% of people wouldnt even have hacked wiis.

I agree with you on that Theta but 99% also wouldn't KNOW how to hack a Wii at all whatsoever, and I doubt they wouldn want to either. So what's the point in allowing people to hack your console. You make LESS money and go bankrupt, that's why people hate piracy to be honest, but the pirates are a small minority on the Wii like Theta said 99% of Wii Owners buy their games in a shop or over amazon.co.uk or something like that.

Actually that 99% is pretty accurate, for example look at the island Grenada(where i live) i can say positively me and 2 of my other friends are the only ones with a modded wii plus they didn't know about it I did it when they asked me. The population is about 103,000 right about know so that means 99.9% of the people don't know how to do this. Yet 10% of them know how to do a psp.
