    MAC OSX Help Please

    Hey Guys
I have a harddrive, external usb one, that I formatted to Fat32. I popped on a wbfs game and it worked on my wii. However the fat 32 will not let me copy files larger from my mac. It is very frustrating. I tried NTFS which did work, but many emulators won't work on it. I am wondering if there was a solution to writer larger files to a fat32 drive?
    thanks
    Jim

You should use Wii Backup Manager to load your Wii games rather than copy/pasting

Unfortunately I'm not sure if there is a Mac compatible version as I use a PC. I do know there is a WBFS program for Mac though. I will look around and see if I can find which one and link it.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

    Hey
There is wiifusion, which I thought took my iso and made to wbfs. thats what I did.. but when I drag them to the HD in fat32 they are too big ? I noticed on fusion when you transfer to image i.e._ WBFS there is a split section, its at 4G.... should it be 2G? is that the work around? Just tried it seems to work!

What ever WBFS manager you use should put the games on the HDD for you.

Yes it did, but they won't work.. there is like 7 in the WBFS folder on the root of the USB. WIIFLOW sees none. and USB loader recognizes the drive but no games listed.. I don't get it.

I tried emulators and accessed the rome on the disk with no issues.

Ok I got it figured out! The WBFS I have downloaded work fine. The ones made in Wii Fusion are not working. Is there another WBFS manger/maker for mac? I think that is the issue.

I mentioned in another thread that WiiJManager works for me (it runs on java for the GUI). The person I was helping was having problems with it, but I tried it this morning on my mac and worked just fine. A link to WiiJManager 0.8 exists in the NTFS guide in the Mac section, but will work just fine for FAT32 (will also do the 4gig split).

    Click Below for recommended Links

    Hey
Thanks so much the wijmanager java one worked perfect!!

Now I just need to figure out, how to exit back to USB loader without going to system menu... and how to get my emulators onto wiiflow..... (can not decided between wiiflow and usbloader).

    Thanks
    Jim
