    Regular channel and forwarder

I dont speak good English so try understand.

I know that have two kinds of channels:
    -regular channel
    -forwarder channel
What is the difference between them?
From what I understand, regular channel containing the app within the wad, and forwarders send you to library in SD.
For example, this is wiiflow forwarder:
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/wo2t6s
The publisher of this file said:
    SD :\apps\wiiflow\boot.dol
    SD :\apps\wiiflow\boot.elf
and he only post the wad above.
    How I use this?

Channel install = wad file that contains EVERYTHING. Forwarder = pseudo-channel. It does install to the System Menu, but serves as a pointer/short cut to the actual program (boot.dol) that resides on either SD card or USB drive. It's only a partial install (which means takes up less system memory/blocks).

You have to have the boot.dol on the SD card and in the appropriate folder.

But the publisher of the link put only .wad file without boot.dol . How I get boot.dol? Its same file to all channel or every channel need other boot.dol?

Why don't you follow our WiiFlow guide instead. It has instruction, including link to program and forwarder. Any further questions (only after you read the entire guide) should be made there.

We don't allow the linking of external guides or files unless previously approved.

To sum things up: You need to find the HBC channel and have it installed on your SD card in the recommended directory, then you have to have the .wad for that app that will install the channel.

This sort of thing is exactly why I don't like forwarders, it can be confusing for some people, and they may be better off to just run the HBC apps from HBC directly.

What exactly do you want set up as a forwarder?

If it's USB loaders, then check out our Softmod Any Wii guide, follow it, you get forwarders to all USB loaders that are also supplied in chapter 3 in the App Pack.

If it is for one specific app, see if there is a guide for it and see what they say.
