    WiiTweet Crashes

I swallowed my pride and signed up for a Twitter account recently and decided to check out the Wii's client. WiiTweet loads and brings up the network, but crashes about 30 or 60 seconds after checking for updates. I get the usual black screen that says reloading in five seconds.

    Any ideas?

You could try updating your softmod when it's old, but other than that, I can't think of much. Perhaps you could try another freshly formatted SD card to make sure it's not some issue on the SD, but I doubt that's the problem.
Awesome sig picture does not work

I softmodded my Wii around July last year using the guide I found here, so everything should be up to date. The SD card has tons of stuff on it and has never showed any signs of being flaky, so I'm baffled too.

Post a system check, just so we can be sure everything is up to date.

Your cios's are a little out dated, but everything else looks good.

You can update your cios to V8 following this guide. Link->D2x Cios Installation Guide.

I followed the instructions you linked to. When I check afterwards using syscheck, it's stuck on testing IOS245.

Remove all devices from the wiis USB ports and try again. If that don't work redownload the wads again and install that one that is giving you problems.

I tried it out to see what happens when I try running it and get the exact same thing.

So I'd just chalk this down as a crap app and move on.

But the fact that syscheck fails is an issue that should be continued to work on until that starts to work.

I reinstalled the V8 pack with WAD Manager rather than the cIOS Installer -- which was much simpler. Here's the resultant syscheck.
