On a different subject. I bought a 2nd wii so i would have bootmii as boot2 and just finished the tutorial a second time and my used wii is a mirror of my new wii, however i launched usb loader gx and i get the splash screen and then the wii restarts.
I also tried the CFG loader and it does the same thing. My external HDD is USB 2.0 is it not compatible with the older wii's

Sounds like you are missing the apps on your sd card or the sd card is not in the Wii.

Your correct , I put the card in the pc and the whole apps directory is gone. My nephew was playing a game and i told him not to go into any channels on page 2 and he must have and deleted the apps folder.

Just got this used wii last night and have only had the new wii for 2 weeks and i'm wondering for you know why when i got up this morning the used wii had the blue light in the dvd slot illuminated overnight , the
wii was off but i didn't have the red led only the amber led.

Sure...blame it on the kid...lmao. There's no way to delete the apps folder on your sd card from a channel on the Wii.

You have standby mode enabled. Access the system settings to disable it.
