HBC wii version 4.3u

I just downloaded letterbomb for the wii from please.hackmii.com and once i downloaded the homebrew channel and bootmii, the homebrew channel is just blue from the top and black at the bottom. There are no apps shown on it and it is connected to the internet. I cant even tell which version this HBC is. I cannot load any games either. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling HBC. I've also formatted the sd card twice and the same problem persists. Can anyone tell me how to get the HBC to start working?

Installing the HBC and bootmii is only the start of the softmod process. You can finish softmodding by following

I'm looking at the guide and it says "sdhc cards do not work" Is this still true? and i did the first part with a sdhc card

Some do, some don't. Standard SD cards have the best results, so always recommended.
