    three questions for you bobbycreek05...
first one iso's on ur computer do you still 249 patch them and update patch them?
secondly you just said that was off a backup so can you install games already backed up onto discs onto your hdd from the wii i thought it had to be originals from the wii drive?
thirdly i have already asked this but didnt get a clear answer is the usb2.0 from the 4.0 update that waninkoko put out or do you still have to install cios usb2 to get the 2.0 support

It takes me about 15 minutes to dump a 4GB game which seems to be much faster than your speed, and I didn't install any special USB cIOS, I did however install Waninkoko's 4.0 update. Anyone else want to compare transfer speeds?

Yes, Mario Kart also took me about this long.

do I have to format the partition with a special file format when moving isos on it?
Yes, you can do this with the init command for WBFS, or do it through the USB Loader's main menu (it'll prompt you to). Both require you have a pre-existing partition created before you can format it.

secondly you just said that was off a backup so can you install games already backed up onto discs onto your hdd from the wii i thought it had to be originals from the wii drive?
I can, too. I do have a modded drive though, so that might be a factor.

Question, people that transfer using WBFS, does it trim the ISO at all or are all your games 4GB on the HDD? I've been transferring from my Wii itself, and it trims games and they work great (Animal Crossing is 300MB!).

the partition be FAT in first setup, then formatted into wbfs, using the USB_Loader.
the ISO's be in the wbfs partition for wii to run.

what i did what created a 90 gig partition on my 1tb mybook formatted to fat32. hook up the drive to the wii and start usb loader, it will ask what partition you want to format, click the appropriate partition and viola!!! your formatted to wbfs your now free to rip away

    This is driving me CRASY!!!

I have a external hard drive formatted to FAT32
    wbfs_win.exe <drive letter> init = no problem
    wbfs_win.exe <drive letter> add game.iso = no problem

    installed
cIOS36_rev9-Installer and USB Loader 1.1 on a modded Wii =no problem

but when i fire up the usb loader I get a blank game list and then then a restart.

are you making sure to add the drive letters? if so and its still not working reformat your hd again to fat32 and then with the wii off plug it back into the wii and power on. use the usb loader to format the partion to wbfs and let me know if that works for you
