im not sure if this bit of info will help anyone but we just installed everything on my friends softmodded wii. and ripped mario galaxy to the hdd. well he was having an audio issue with some of the cut scenes on the game do to running at 3x, those issues are now gone running from the hdd so i assume thats a good thing and this usb loader actually runs at a higher speed then the 3x

this is a for dummies version of a.t.h.k method. its verified working

make a wbfs folder in your local c:\ or whatever your local is, put the wbfs_win.exe app in the folder with all your isos
go to run and type cmb
this will bring up the dos menu, now type
    cd c:\wbfs
    you should have c:\wbfs
now type wbfs_win.exe X add i.iso hit enter

X=DRIVE LETTER YOU WANT THE GAMES TO GO, i=GAME NAME TYPED EXACTLY HOW ITS SAVED IN WBFS FOLDER. DONT FORGET TO ADD .ISO after the game name

    EXAMPLE c:\wbfs>wbfs_win.exe f add wiiplay.iso

could someone tell me exactly what is taken out of the game after it is scrubbed?
also an update. i transfered 15 of my wii games to the hdd in under an hour which would have taken me literally 52 hours over the wifi and they all work flawlessly.
sorry for posting so much but im excited
forgot to add that im using a 1tb western digital mybook external drive

Goto my computer then the local disk normally C:

Once there create a folder name WBFS

Open up the RAR or ZIP file that contains WBFS_WIN.exe and drag / drop it into the folder created

NOW a game put the ISO in the same folder

Ok so WBFS is all done through the command line CMD/Command prompt you cannot double click it ...

So to get to the Command line do this

XP USERS: Click Start then goto RUN and type in CMD

VISTA USERS: There are a few ways here

1: Windows key (on the keyboard) and R

2: RUN might be in the start menu (by default its not)

3: ALT+CTRL+DEL select task manager, File > New task > type in CMD

Once here you must CD (eg move to the WBFS folder)

So in CMD type CD C:/WBFS or CD C:WBFS, now you'll see yo uhave moved to that location,

And time to run the commands just type them in CMD as they are here

X represents the HDD you want to use BE CAREFUL!

    *init the partition:
    wbfs_win.exe X init

*add an iso to your partition
wbfs_win.exe X add COD5.iso - COD5 being the game you want to add - i suggest renaming the ISO to something easy makes for less typing!

To be honest thats all you need you can remove + add on the WII itself..

Enjoy guys hope it helped if you need help just reply!
If I do this will my games be scrubbed like they would be if i ripped with the wii and usb loader?

ive asked another guy on a different forum to add the feature to his GUI of ripping the scrubbed iso back from the hdd to the pc so hopefully we will see that soon
