Waninkoko releases the SD/USB LOADER 1.2

Some people are having issues (read up here) I haven't used this yet, but I suggest waiting.

Waninkoko has released a new version of his USB Loader which now supports loading your legal backups from a SD/SDHC card. So, all of the people who have created modified loaders from Waninkoko's original source might want to add the SDHC support to their builds. Until then, you can run this as a seperate application if you're interested in running backups from your SD card. Note, that it requires the installation of Waninkoko's new cIOS36 rev10.

I've downloaded & tested and it allows you to install and boot your backups from a USB storage device or a SD/SDHC card, but the BAD news is it still keeping my wireless mic unactivated, which was working perfectly in the cIOS 36 rev 8. If i reinstall rev 8 I regain my mic and no usb. HELP !!!!!

Ya know, it's still an early build, can't really expect total compatibilty until maybe ver. 2 or 3, but just be patient, I'm sure waninkoko is workin on the issues! But man, I was just getting used to games off of a usb drive, now SD cards!?! Wow, soon, we'll be able to wi-fi boot, lol.

i have tried 1.3 and 1.4 both of them detect my drive but say there is no wbfs partition on it..1.2 finds it no problem but gives the wrong amount of space left on drive....and this other loader i have USBLoaderModV3 1.1 i think its called detects my drive fine and loads the pictures for them games i downloaded fine but playing endless ocean i found my game would crash about an or so into when i was going to look at something on the ground it would just freeze to black screen but i could still move the remote around but it would not respond to anything, not sure it thats related to that loader, my hdd or the new cios rev 10 have tested it enough yet

i'm still using 1.1. It seems to work fine other than the fact that the 2nd USB port doesn't work when I'm using it. But that's a problem that occurs in cIOS rev9 and rev10.

I am at 3.2U Softmod and do not have a modchip, so I haven't tested a backup ISO disc yet, but I would have to assume it is needed since there isn't a way to have the USB Loader v1.1 launch the BackupLoader Gamma from the HBC.

If there was a way to somehow combine the BackupLoader Gamma, Ocarina, and the USB Loader, I think we'd all be in heaven.

I also want to go on record on saying the cIOS v9 is fantastic and my BackupLaoder Gamma works 1000% better than on v7 or v8. Whereas I had a lot of 349 errors, v9 seems to work nearly every time I load it. I am impressed with the level of programming coming out lately. Keep up the good work!

Also i use the 1.1 version and i am not having any issues that various other people are having, my device comes up with the right space left and also i installed it like a charm straight of. i did a network install rather than googling for the wad file and then doing a wad isntall. i downgraded to 3.2 the other day from 4.0 installed the hbc with a chip seems to work flawless, with usbloader 1.1.

but my question is i am going to upgrade to bigger hdd, rather than a thumb drive, is there away to copy the items from my thumb drive to the new hdd ? rather than loading everything again ?

some can correct me if i am wrong here. but u can use a back disk i do it with my games in fact i do not even burn the dvd i just plug in my usb thumb drive to my pc and transfer the image to the drive using the gui. very simple straight forward, just say no when windows asks u to format the drive.

    just use that method.

    I need help installing cIOS36 rev9 or cIOS36 rev10.

I have IOS36-64-v1042.wad in the root of my SD card.
I load the cIOS36 rev10 installer from Waninkoko
choose WAD installation and it says
    "[+] Reading "IOS36-64-v1042.wad", please wait... ERROR! (ret = -1)

    Press any button to restart..."

When I choose NETWORK installation it says

    "[+] Initializing nerwork..."

and then nothing happens it freezes and if I hit any buttons it goes to a black screen with a bunch of hex code on it.

The same thing happens when I try to load REV9 or REV10.

How do I get it installed?
