Can you guys confirm this process for getting the USB Loader working? Consider it a mini-FAQ / Checklist:

    1. Install IOS36 via .wad or installer (I find WAD to be easiest).
    2. Install the USB Loader program (basically create a USB Loader folder in your Apps folder and change the .DOL to BOOT.DOL).
    3. Format HDD using WBFS.exe on a Windows machine (I haven't done this yet cause I haven't installed Windows on my Mac yet).
EDIT: How do you format a Drive using the Wii? I'm not familiar with that.
    4. Plug in your HDD to your Wii USB port and you should be set.

Is this correct? Cause I haven't necessarily got this thing going yet, but that is only cause I haven't formatted my 60gb drive correctly. I'm just trying to streamline the process for those of us who know what we are doing.

I have a soft modded Wii and I've just installed the USB loader and ripped a back up of Mario Kart with no problems at all.

How do you use your PC to load ISOs? So you copied them from your PCs hard to your external?

Once the USB loader formats the external drive via the Wii my PC cannot recognise the external as it is an unrecognised format ie not Fat or NTFS.

Yes I know. Downgrading is changing all of the system settings (I'm guessing it would be IOS's and cIOS's) to a lower level version (that of the previous firmware). But I've heard many times that downgrading your console is one of the easiest ways to brick it.

To Everyone: Can anyone confirm USB Loader 1.1 working on system firmware 3.4U with only IOS36-64-v1042 & IOSCustomInstallerRev9 installed? This is the only step holding me back. I just need to insure I don't need to downgrade or upgrade.
