Ok well you need a program to create a partition i don't know of i free one .. EASEUS Partition Manager - is good, i do not pay for things
What you will want to do it select the ipod with the program and then firgure out what how much space your want to format it will keep the files in the partition that already exists once done i suggest formatting to FAT32 then formatting to WBFS via the WII hope it works out ok

Try formatting the drive to FAT32 reinsert it into the PC see if it work, if it does format it with WBFS not through the WII see how that goes?

So when I create the partition, will it be in the same format as it's already in (NTFS)? And then how do I convert that to FAT32?

Sorry I'm asking so many questions, I just don't want to mess anything up.

You would select the one with the size you have selected to partition..... make it bigger than the other one for obvious reasons ... Wii games are big!
@garyleung22 - thanks for wasting space champ!

Ah I see. Didn't know it would tell you the size of both partitions. Well I think that's enough questions for one day. Thanks =D

I have a soft-modded wii with a 640 gb maxtor basics hdd, although wii was recognising hdd it wouldn't allow me to copy any games to it.

My copied games are all working ok through usb loader and the 3 i have tried so far are all running ok from hdd.
Wow what a bonus as i thought i would need a chip.
I hope this helps

replacement ipod screens are relatively cheap
you can also format an ipod and remove all the data on its main partition as itunes will still be able to identify it as an ipod and restore its partitions and system files
edit: can a mod delete the spam posts

i beleave you need to have an original disk in the wii while using the loader
