Step1. Download "IOS37-64-v2070.wad" seperately and place on the Root of your sd card.
Step2. Download the Cios 37 installer and place in the apps folder and rename the cios 37 installer file to boot.dol
step3. Load Cios installer from HBC home menu and follow prompts and you now have cios 37 installed

Worked for me let me know if it helps anyone else.

    Quick question here

the wad has to be in the root becuase the way the installer has been coded it looks for it there and not in the WADS directory? I havent had a problem yet as I keep all the wads i get in the wads file and copy them to the root when needed but would just like clarification on this.

I am getting confused by the minute.

I have a modded Wii v3.4E I want to play a backup of Rockband and according to the threads I'm reading I need to to install Cios37.

Right I am NEWBIE. COrrect me if I will be doing wrong. I don't want to brick my Wii

    1. I format an SD card
    2. I will download Cios37 onto the SD card

Now what? Do I have to continue with quoted or do I just extract the cios37?
In any case I never tried this before do I double click and where is the app folder?

    Please do help me out

Back up channel doesn't work now ether!!!!!!

    WHAT A MESS!!!

    Can some one help me?
    Was this for a NTSC Wii/ 3.2U..?
Do I have a semi brick???
    I'm kinda new..

    HOW DO I UNINSTAL THIS!!!!!!!

    --EDIT--
I got everything working I had to use "AnyTitle Deleter" to get rid of the IOS249 but it allowed me to update my Wii with CIOS36-v10.dol.......GOOD AS NEW..

But why would anyone want this, it messed up all my Wii's fun stuff..?

Every one should just install CIOS36 v10 it is the best.

I did the same as you a couple of hours ago.

Installed this and then not one of my dvd-r's disc would work. Sh*t myself.

I've had to remove IOS249 like you and install CIOS36 v10 again.

PAL Wii running 3.2. Non hard chipped.

The meta files and the icons are NOT needed. You can just use the .dol/.elf file and rename it to boot.dol/.elf and it should work.
