Wii Shop and IOS61 Installer

Wii Shop and IOS61 Installer is a simple edit of WB3000's original Wii Shop and IOS51 Installer. Its been editted to install IOS61 and the latest Shop Channel which is currently v19.

This is for people who've just modded there 4.2 Wiis but the Shop Channel is asking them to do an official update. You'll be able to get the newest shop channel without having to update and risk your homebrew.

Just Unzip it and put it in your apps folder and run like any other app in homebrew channel.

How to Know If It Works

If you're sent back to homebrew channel - FAILED

If it pauses and asks you to press any key to continue - SUCCESS

NOTE
Requires an Internet Connection

Not working for my 4.1E. Just hangs on a black screen.

Have you installed a cIOS and properly formatted your sd card and made sure your Internet is connected to your wii?

I have cIOS249r14.

My card is formatted to Fat32.

My internet connection is fine.

Well bizarrely, I decided to give this another try today and it worked perfectly. Weird, as I hadn't changed a thing.

i've noticed that with the Wii as well. Just trying something again without altering anything can produce a positive where there once was a negative. it makes me wonder how badly i've devastated the system. xD

and thanks for not using rapidshare. it drives me crazy that people still use that out-dated crap.
