Please help.I am trying to getmy Wii to play DVD's. I have managed to get the home brew channel onto it along with the mplayer.But when i go into the mplayer and press play DVD it does not do anything. I then have to push the home button on the wii remote for it to do anything which goes back to the homebrew channel. I have nowspent hours on this and just want it to work.Thank you
Try using WiiMC. It's more popular and is very reliable - I would recommend using that.
Thank you. I am not very surewhat i amdoing,quite new tothis.Is WiiMC in addition to the homebrew and mplayer parts that i have already installed. If so there seems to be many versions which is best?

wiimc didn't load my DVD's at all. And also, I tried using MPLAYER_CE or something. It didn't work for me either. PLEASE help.

I didn't find the right one that matches my Wii model. And also, I tried almost every media app on the wii to play DVD's. None of them worked.
