    Success!

Will this update have any impact on programs run from homebrew? Like emulators? (Will they perform better?) or did this update solely make it so homebrew and apps load quicker?

Reinstall the HBC, it will use IOS58, then you can run the WiiMC installer properly.

It's really too bad that you have to have HBC 1.0.8 installed just to run this. If you could run it from 1.0.6 (or even 1.0.7), you wouldn't have to bother reinstalling the HBC.

HBC Should be using IOS58 anyway, so if its not then it should be reinstalled so it uses IOS58. Installs in less then 10 seconds, no big deal

It's not about the time it takes, it's about people not realizing that they have to reinstall it, or just forgetting. I don't know if these guides have always included IOS58, but I didn't even use a guide (at least not all at once), so I didn't have IOS58 until recently. My HBC used IOS61 if memory serves me correctly (it is usually pretty defiant though ).

The biggest, most noobiest mistake I made was having Darkcorp 1.1 installed. Has anyone else tried this; if so did it brick, or were you able to bring it back using NAND backup?
