    Help with Priiloader

    Hi,

I downloaded a Softmod kit which has IOS 236 Installed v5 MOD, YAWMM Multimod Batch and Priiloader 236 Mod. The first 2 utilities got installed. When I load the 3rd one (Priiloader 236 Mod), it asks for options +/A which I am not able to click from my remote. The first 2 utilities gets installed without getting options. Is there a way I can get Priiloader 236 Mod installed without getting options.

    I own a Wii 4.3E console.

    Please help.

    Thanks,
    aspoiltkid

Where did you get this softmod kit from? We don't support other people's guides, so if you want help from us, you should use our guide.

The guide we recommend for modding a system is the Softmod Any Wii guide, which can be found in my signature.

Any you could have asked me that in IRC when we spoke there. lol Though, you missed the "Introduce Yourself" section by a little bit.

Thanks lots llaffer.. I will try this and get back to you.. The thing is, the kit works until the console asks for options.. Example, in this case, when the Priiloader asks for options +/A, I am not able to press anything from my remote.. No blue LEDs in the remote are lit..

In one forum, I read that if Wii is provided with a remote which has motion plus, it is impossible to install Priiloader and other apps which asks for options like + or A or 1..
Anyways, thanks for the help.. I will reply to this thread when I have completely tried all the instructions successfully or when I get stuck in between..

And yeah, I missed the "Introduce myself" which I will do shortly..

If you have a newer remote and that installer is for v0.7, then it won't work. You would need the beta v0.8 installer, which you would get as part of the AppPack in chapter 2 off the Softmod any Wii guide. (You get both actually, in case you need it for this purpose)

    Hi llaffer,

My hack stopped in Part 3 (Part 3- Make A NAND Backup (NOT Optional, do this,)).. I pressed Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset.. Followed by this, I pressed Power, Eject, Reset on the Wii console..

A screen came up with asking me to press 'A'.. When I pressed 'A' from my Wii remote, the LEDs blinked for sometime and it does not allow me to select A.

I am using 4.3E Wii console with remote which has Wii MotionPlus INSIDE..

    Please help

After you did the "Power - Powre - Power - Reset - Reset", that should have started the NAND backup process. Did that take place and you have the backup files on your SD Card?

If it did, you can just power off the Wii at that point, save the files on your SD card, format the card and move on to Chapter 2.

If the NAND back up didn't take place, try it again.

I'm not sure where you ended up where you had to press "A", since the program knows that it won't allow Wii Remote input, so I'm not sure where you were at.
