    But then why do candles works as some other sites suggest they do? Candles are not infrared either.

    They do? Any how the link I posted said he used a flash light. That was not infrared either was it?

    I'm not saying he didn't and I can't disprove it because I have never tried to use incadesent lights. But... I do not always believe what I read on the internet... do you? I do know for a fact that the Wii sensor bar has 2 banks of 5 infrared LEDs and the Wiimote has an infrared camera in side it. The Wiimote determines it's position based on the the distance and angle it is from those LEDs.

    When my sensor bar wire got messed up i used a 100 watt outdoor spotlight in a light fixture that i set on top of the tv. It was obnoxious to use because it was so bright but it worked great untill i replaced the sensor bar. So i can say from experience that it is possible to use a light for your wii and it was just as accurate as using the sensor bar itself.

    Anyhow just out of curiosity those flashlights in the video are incandescent aren't they?
