    wii remote sensor bar not responding

    hi all, i have a good trawl through the forum using live search, but i cant naill this issue
    i have a soft mod runnng version 3.4, have usb loader and all has been working fine for nearly a year now
    the wii will boot and run the menu screeen but there is no response from any remote, i have interchanged with known working sensor bar and wi motes, but no response, any advice would be much appreciated

    I think your bluetooth module has died. Try syncing the wii remotes (press the red button on the wii, near the SD card slot and the red button on the wii remote, behind the battery clip) and see if it works. If it doesn't, try the wii remotes with your sensor bar with a friends wii. If they work, your bluetooth module is broken.

    sensor bar is actually just 14 IR leds. you could replace it with 2 candles. (don't do that still :; D just for fire safety ) and wiimote has camera and IR filter. If your wiimote connects to your wii then the camera of your wiimote is broken or doesn't see IR lights for some other reason. Test different wiimote with your wii.

    Not sure, but if bluetooth module was broken, shouldn't the wii seem like it was bricked? I mean that it shouldn't turn on?

    You can test if sensor bar works with just pointing camera to it - you would see 14 leds.

    thanks all, bad ccontact on wire, re spliced crimped and wrapped working fine thanks again
