Add GC Ports to Wii Family Edition?

Is is possible to solder on a GC Controller Port and a Memory Card to the new Wii's? I Have a bunch of GC games that I would love to play on my Wii as I'm missing my GC A/V cable.

I know the new Wii DVD drive doesn't support GC games but would there be a way to rip them some other way?

Best solution: Get a GC AV cable :P

Ha ha yeah that would be the best solution. It was just wishful thinking on my part.
I love fiddling around with hardware; I've done a lot of hardware/wire mods on the my 3 Dreamcasts.

Talking Wii Family Edition can play GameCube backups

I just don't know if it's possible to solder GC ports on a Wii Family Edition, but what I can assure you it's that Wii Family Edition can play GameCube backups from an USB HardDisk.

Wii Family Edition can play GameCube backups as usually do a "normal Wii".

Yesterday I was softmodding my sister's Wii Family Edition, and I tried it. I got a big surprise when I see "Star Fox Adventures" running on her Wii. It would be cool if you can use a Classic Controller to play them.
