alternate solution to play other region games after wii 4.2 update?

hello

i updated my wii without know the effects that 4.2 does, as i was convinced that wii update never effect chip.

so after update my wii can only play orginal and backup PAL games, i cant play NTSC-US backup or orginal. since the update kills region free.

what i dont understand is that my can boot wiikey 2 config disk without any problems so it should also boot NTSC-US too.

does anyone know any alternate solution which allow me to play NTSC-US games safely? i alo try to patch games to change the game region using regionfree but no luck.

if you guys want to install enythig on me wii can u please privide line to TUT to install thet software safely. is there any risk of installing HBC on 4.2 or coud anything go wrong during the installation?

please help me out, as this will also help other too

not sure if there is a fix for the chip itself, but you could always softmod your wii, guide linked in my sig.

thanks but is it safe? would anything go wrong during instaltion whcih might brick my wii?

also is there roll back option to undo changes? if not would i be able update my wii from nintendo in futuer, just incase.
