Hi I was wondering if there were any other soldering points on the wii with a d2c chipset. Because my soldering point G for the wiikey 2 on the is not there so is there any other soldering points i can use to connect the G solder point on chip to the dvd rom drive?
Yes there is. I don't have any pcitures on hand but you can solder g to the first pin on the lower IC Chip.
If you go to [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] and look under the wii section and the install pictures. The very bottom picture shows the alternate point. If it is difficult to see it is just the first pin.
