Wii 3.3E DVDx patchmii problems

Hi,

I'm new to all of this, so please go easy.

I have a chipped (D2Pro) Wii with 3.3E firmware. I've managed to install Homebrew with the Twilight hack, however, when it came to installing DVDx it first asked me to install patchmii.......so I went back and did this. However, when I tried to reinstall DVDx (option 2 on the menu) it then said error 2011, patchmii not installed ISO254 required. - I believe this is happening because I have firmware 3.3E...so what's the best course of action now in order to get DVDx installed?

Thanks a lot beastman2008. It worked perfectly. I'm now able to play emulators..............can you do that on a 10 dollar dvd player victorinox?!?!

That is D2pro [if i remember correctly, i didn't solder it myself], 3.3e system. Installed patchmii-core and then tried dvdx normal AND patchmii install but I couldn't get DVD movies to play.

I did the downgrade to 3.2u following the steps of the linked tutorial, reinstalled patchmii-core, dvdx through both instalations, and still I am not able to play DVD movies.

Any hints?
