    copying original game disc

    is there a way to copy a original wii game to a external hard drive. i have tried coverfloader but it says usb drive not found

    Maybe all the pirated games don't like your original.

    im not trying to burn or rip the original games im trying to back up or copy them to a external usb hard drive i seen it done on you tube but when i go into coverfloader it says usb error drive not found but the drive is plugged into the right port.

    Hi! You can try with CFG or CleanRip.

    I know what you are doing, you are trying to rip (copy/backup) a copy to your hdd and coverfloader is not working. Usbloader GX is capable of doing it too.

    i tried usb loader gx as well the games that are on the external hd pop up but there is no option to copy a original game disc to the hd.is there any other way or app that will back up or copy the original game disc. thanks for any info.

    I think you press 1 to rip the disc, it may be something else. There are buttons and options on the screen, check them out.. I have usually had gx running then insert the disc and it prompts me to copy to hdd. CFG loader, wiiflow will both do it too.

    i figured it out i had to format hard drive make partition fat 32 primary, then in usbloader gx there is a + sign on the left of the screen push that and it adds disc to hard drive add cover then done. thanks again.
