I don't know how many people will find this usefull, but the cheapest place i've found in Denmark is a netshop called azomedia. i paid 95 danish kroners for a 50 piece spindle (delivery included), that is a little more than 17 US dollars. Keep in mind, the exchange rate for US dollars is very good in Denmark at the moment, before the dollar started falling it was about 7 kroners for a dollar, now its 5,3 DKK for a dollar i believe. They ship to Sweden as well.

I have also found Digimax DVD-R to be good for burning games too
I think I got them from Maxwell's in Epping, Melbourne and they were only about $14 for 50........... I haven't had a coaster YET

The best media for any console or sensible device laser are the Taiyo Yuden discs!!

But they are expensive and you can only find this online like this example:

Most people use verbatim, tdk , sony that fine too

Edit: I saw this in the wikipedia
Blank CD and DVD media is made by That's Fukushima for the distributor START Lab. Media Products manufactured by Taiyo Yuden are considered to be some of the best among enthusiasts, and are also used by drive manufacturers and Sony PlayStation game developers.[
