Nintendo products on the other hand are built pretty tuff since it did not break apart into alot of pieces upon impact. Only reason the battery door flew off is because of the momentum of the batteries. In my 20 years of gaming I have never had a Nintendo product go defective on me knock on wood. Wish I could say that about my Playstation 2.
Yeah I saw a video about the WiiMote and they did all different kinds of things to it and it still worked perfectly.

I don't know how many times I've had to buy a new Ps2 controller when I dropped it or something.

I wonder how strong the Wiimote is. Has anyone broken theirs instead of their TV yet?

Crazy all these pics are makin me think this could happen to us with our son.

Honestly though you really have to be whippin your arms around to do so much damage surely you couldn't play the games for long if it is this rigerous.

The Wii may be better than weight watchers !!!!

If we ever get our hands on one of these, five bucks says my son does some type of "non-insured" damage.....

Should we start the pool now on WHAT he breaks and how long he'll have to deliver papers to pay for it?

Check out this site: http://wiihaveaproblem.com/ which shows the aftermath of the Wiimote destruction. Nintendo has even acknowledged that there is a problem to the site owner and announced they have plans in the works to revise the design.
