    Finally have a wii!

So I was finally able to grab a Wii after months and months!

Got my Wiikey installed before I had even tried it out and had it installed by this great i found on craigslist..

I am going to pick up some cheapo DVD-R's and test it out.

I'll be testing with the Imation 100-Pack 16X 4.7GB DVD-R Spindle for only $21.99, even if they don't work I guess I can't lose.. still cheap!

    Just to update...

I had a few dvd-r's not sure the brand as they dont show anything on the front.... but i tried a few ISO's and none worked...

I ended up buying the 100 pack Imation and every image worked perfectly...

Ca less expensive doesn't always mean cheaper quality...

    Hey ya Fatal.....

even though some of the cheap quality brands (not neccessarily less expensive brands will work ok...still is not really recommended cause it causes your laser in the drive to overwork itself to read the disk....result laser diode burns out quicker ( still though talking about years, not weeks here..lol)

dynex, princo, etc....... cheap quality and cheap on wallet......boooo...

imation, staples,maxell,memorex,fuji,Vertbatim,etc....nothi ng wrong with those at all....Less expensive..usually special deals available......good quality.....

ritek, ridata ..the best food for your dvd reader.........apparently....

Good to know...I do notice that once in a while when I bootup a game it won't get to the title screen and give me a read error....

Quality discs may prevent that too I imagine.... i'll keep a lookout for some quality discs.....

    thanks for the tip

I have found that Dynex works great on my Wii... =\ All of my cheap media have been working nicely.

Hi Jamezli.....dynex will work for the most part...however you WILL overwork your laserdiode to read the discs... there is a reason why they are less expensive...
I, myself... would use dynex and even princo for movies , etc...
but not on ANY of my gaming gear......( have seen many a burnt out laser over the years)

the cheapest I would go is maybe dataware...

remember...my opinion and some others only

    cheers.....happy gaming....
