system settings black screen

ok firstly i installed darkwii red theme and then noticed i couldnt get into system settings , then someone told me to re-install the original theme so i did , still cant get into system settings its doing the same just a black screen , i need help as i need to be in system settings

and if anyone has an original theme i can try

As I suggested in the guide you posted in, why not just reinstall the entire System Menu 4.2E and not just the theme?

Follow these steps. You won't loose anything.

4.2E cBoot2 fix

1. Download this and unpack it to your SD card.
2. Place SD card in your Wii and boot. (Skip to step 5 if you have Bootmii as boot2)
3. Start Homebrew
4. Press the home button and select Bootmii
5. MMM will start
6. Scroll down to "Load another IOS" and press A.
7. Choose IOS249 and press A.
8. Scroll up to "Wad Manager" and press A.
9. Press 1 to install all wads and then press A.
10. Let it finish and reboot when done
11. Verify that Priiloader is still functional by pressing the reset button while powering on your Wii. If not then reinstall it.

so are themes not a good idea , i might aswell stick to the original less trouble lol

If you don't have Bootmii installed as Boot2 then they are a bad idea. If you get a hold of a bad theme they you could end up bricking your Wii worse then what is is now. You have a semi-brick this time but next time it could be a full brick.

Moral of this story is.... Don't mess with themes if you don't have Bootmii/boot2.

i do have it as bootmii as boot2 ;-)

Worse case scenario then would be a restore of your nand backup using Bootmii. Just make sure you have a backup handy.
