    Brief Scare

The main circuit went out on my house earlier. The power went out while my girls were playing SSBB with my buddy. Then the power started browning lowly on and off and as the lights came dimly on the red light of the Wii and TV would come on and dimly pulse in and out with everything else. Finally when all was said and done and the circuit was replaced and power restored I noticed there was no red light on the Wii any more and it would no longer power on. I unplugged and re-plugged everything. i left things unplugged for a while. I tried different outlets. Nothing was working. I was at a loss. I thought I would be temperately without a Wii. Then it dawned on me. The power block. I plugged it in to the wall without the Wii plugged in and left it plugged in for a while. I plugged my Wii back in an bam...The familiar red light and a fully working Wii. The power browning must have completely discharged the capacitors in the power block or something.

Beats the hell out of me. Kind of scary. I was down checking out the panel box with the landlord and the wires running into the main circuit breaker were fried. I called the local power company first and the lines in are good. There was that burned electric smell too. He replaced it and everything seems good so far.
