Hardware:
You need one of 4 LG DVD-Roms.

To Read:
RawDump 2.1
To Write:
ImgBurn, a freeware program very similar to CloneCD.
Directions:
Start RawDump 2.1. Insert the original into the LG DVD-Rom. Close the drive. Click "Start Dump".
In 2 to 3 hours, you'll have a game image, or .ISO. When the dump is complete, right click on the file and go to properties. Make sure the image is exactly 4,699,979,776 kbs. If it's not, it's a bad read, re-dump it.
Also, Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart are dual layer discs, so these will be larger than the kb stated above.
Write the .ISO in ImgBurn.

Find & load the "cIOS downloader" wad into your Homebrew channel. Click on the Homebrew channel and click the "cIOS Downloader" program. Be VERY careful - choose firmware version 3.2U and load it. 3.2U = USA/Canada, 3.2E = Europe, 3.2J = Japan. Choosing the wrong region for your Wii console can brick it, or lock it up. Starfall is important because it is at this time one of the only ways to fix a partially bricked Wii. It is also handy for skipping disk updates.

Hey i have v3.4e and i have the homebrew channel and alot of stuff and my own wads, etc. If i downgraded will it stop some of these working and even might delete them?
No, In any case, You will have more functionality with the lower firmware. It won't delete and channels etc.Quote:

I have a question, does anyone know how to play 2009 games on a hacked 3.2u version wii. It tells me i need to update the wii version when I want to play Tiger Woods 2009 (do I have to uninstall the Twilight Hack EVERTIME I want to play new games)? There has to be an easier way.
