I probably will not be able to get one for atleast 6 months to a year unless I am lucky enough to win one. I can't stop thinking about it though. It will be so worth it when that Wiimote is finally in my hands. Hopefully Nintendo will make a better wrist strap so it will stay in my hands.

I was reading an article where Nintendo developers announced that games, such as smash brothers, may actually end up using the classic controller or gamecube controller. They mentioned that in some games, it just wouldnt be worth it to force themselves to make use of the wiimote becasue it may just end up taking away from the game. Also for a couple of games allready out they give you the choice of either using the wiimote or a regular controller, such as with Dragonball Z budokai Tenkaichi 2. It really appears as if Nintendo has all of their bases covered.

Actually, that's one of the reasons I want a Wii.

really the only game that ive played is LOZ and its great but i think most people can wait for it and a wii. more games will come out and you can catch up on it and play others then. i just now bought a cheap ps2 and am catching up on the top games. its not like this is a one and a lifetime thing. live for a few months, and then pick it up. its the same thing with the ps3. no real reason to get the system when there arent any games to play on it.

I played Wii sports tennis till my arm got a cramp.. haha I forsee an article on tennis elbow or cramping at the hands of the Wii.
It's true I can definately see my parents play it or someone that is not really into games. It's a new experience....it caters to gamers but, also to people just looking to kill some time and do something different.
