Priiloader is installed - so how do I go about fixing this - I'd be happy if I could just erase and start from scratch

I see system menu, homebrew channel, bootmii ios, launch title, installed file, load/install file, system menu hacks, set password, settings,

    IOS v60
    Systemmenu v449 priiloader v0.4 (r78) priiloader is a mod of preloader 0.30

I have this problem from time to time. Especially when other wiimotes that don't normally get synced do, after having synced the wiimotes to another wii or with the computer (GlovePIE) or I have several bluetooth devices running.
What works for me is unplugging the Wii for a minute then press the red button on the wii and then on the wiimote or viceversa. Also try disabling any bluetooth devices that might be on.
    Hope it helps.

    You can try this:

Get a GC controller and plug it into port 1.

    Download MMM_FIX_4.1U.zip
Extract contents to freshly formatted SD card
Power on Wii and hold reset to enter Priiloader
    Insert SD card in Wii
From Priiloader menu choose load/install file (Press A)
Select boot.dol (Press Y to load file)
    MMM Starts
    Choose Wad Manager (Press A)
Choose to install all wads (press Y)
    Make sure everything installs successfully
Back out to main MMM menu by pressing B
    Choose App Manager
    Choose Priiloader
Follow Instructions to install Priiloader and then exit to SM.

If this fixes your issue, you should install Bootmii and make a backup of your NAND. If this doesn't work then you likely have a bad bluetooth module. Good Luck!

Tried your suggestion above, but MMM will not load. I got to "Select boot.dol (Press Y to load file)" and then got stuck at "Loading file..." Any idea why this is happening? Could I have a corrupt IOS? Should I try loading Priiloader with a different one?

I'm not sure what the problem could be at this point. You can't really do much if Priiloader won't let you load anything. You may want to try replacing your BT module as it may be faulty and causing this issue. You can purchase one on ebay for around $10 and this is really all I can recommend without taking a look at the cosole myself.
