Question Waninkoko or Hermes cios for fat32 drive ?

Recently the recommended method for formatting your drive has become fat32 for all of the benefits it provides.

However I'm wondering if I should use Hermes 222 or Waninkoko's cios

I'm using this cios setup with configurable usb loader v61 on 222 mload but that can be changed.

    Krank

and I previously installed mauifrogs install guide.

For me everything seems to work fine on 222mload but mauifrogs guide recommends. cios250[57]-v20

But Kranks guide seems to indicate using 222mload as default.

What I want to know is there any advantage to using cios250[57]-v20 over 222mload ?

I just want to play my games hassle free

This is truly an "Ice Cream Flavor" answer, and allow me to explain.

If you enjoy a certain flavor of ice cream, and it satisfies your needs, then you can stick with it. Personally, I use the "maui method" and I'm sure Krank and Cile use their method. CFG lets you change the IOS you use to load for each game, so frankly you can load whichever you like and change an individual game as needed to the opposing cIOS. The one thing I will say if if you do not already, use maui's 249 and 250 slots as they are (for compatibility with other functions) but if you already have the mLoad 222 working, don't bother changing unless something goes wrong and you have to, which frankly is VERY unlikely.
Give credit where credit is due. If it helps you, click "thanks" on ANY guide I link.

They both work fine. If you stick with the 222 revision it will load a bit faster then using IOS250 (as 249 is loaded first then 250 is reloaded).

Very little difference between them and as mentioned, you can change the game settings individually so it makes no difference what cIOS your loader is using.
    Damn I suck!!!!

So I'm safe to leave hermes 222mload as default cios for games unless a game doesn't work ?
I got confused because waninkoko's cios 249[38] rev 17 has been recommended for a very long time and to be honest until I formatted to FAT32 it's the one I had as default.

Yes, 222 works quite well for most games. cIOS 38 Rev17 does not work with FAT32 so don't worry about it...the only thing it's needed for is triiforce.
