Ca Controller for Playing gamecube games?

I have a modded Wii and I downloaded a nintendo 64 Romset. The wii recognizes the disk as a camecube disk, but I can not select anything with the wii remote. What do I need to do to get the controller to work?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming by "modded" .. that you are running Homebrew with the Wii64 emulator .. in which case .. this page:

    Wii64 - WiiBrew

says you can use a gamecube controller connected to the Wii .. or the classic controller connected to the Wiimote. (You may also be able to use a PSX/PS2 controller with a PS2 -> Gamecube Controller adapter)

Umm... recognizes as a Gamecube disk is most likely means he downloaded one of those GameCube emulation ROM packs which means he would almost certainly need to use a Gamecube controller and have a Gamecube memory card.

Might want to look for an updated version of that disk for the Wii so that you can use the Wii equipment, 'cuz the minute you put in a Gamecube disk and run it, *poof*, your Wii just downclocked itself and became a Gamecube and you need to use Gamecube controllers and memory cards.
