You might want to check with Nintendo's Customer Service site for that, but just on the off-chance here...Do you remember to hit the confirm button when setting both the time and the date?

I have a hard modded wii on 4.1e downgraded, i only updated to play smg2... but i had this problem before this, i cant remember exactly when it arose? I looked up on nintendos site, it says there maybe a date/time problem if my internal battery is dead?! Would that be it? I do turn my wii off at the plug to save my electric bill lol!

I had a pc with a dead internal battery and it kept resetting the time. If it's not a big deal to you, just buy a wrist watch and ignore it, lol.

It's probably the battery, then. Works just like the date and time on a PC. I thi k normally they last for a few years, though. Maybe you got a bad battery from the Wii factory. Good luck with the replacement battery.

Oh and unfortunately, powering off the Wii diesn't save that auxillary battery. It keeps working separately from the Wii, just like the case for a PC.
