Today I rented Samba De Amigo. I inserted the original into my Wii (modified with a DC2Pro/Wiikey) and I get 2 messages.
The first message states:
Initiating a Wii system update
(OK)
The second message states:
IMPORTANT: If you do not want to accept this upgrade, you can shut down your Wii console and cancel the upgrade by holding down the Power Button for four(4) seconds. If your Wii console has an unauthorized techical modification, this upgrade could cause inoperabilitry of your console.
(I Accept)
At this point I shut down the console and try again. No matter what this game will not load unless I accept the upgrade. I am afraid to do this because I do not want to lock up the console.
Has this happen to anyone else? Should I accept the upgrade or simply pass on this game?

Also, I THINK there's a prog to bypass the update....google it?

just update. it's the same as the mario kart disc update + ios37. your system menu will stay 3.1 if you are on 3.1 and 3.2 if you are on 3.2 etc..
I currently have 3.1U
Should I let it update with this game?
