Well the d2ckey unfortunately don't have any firmware updates for it...it is permanently flashed in the chip. So you will definitely need the Gecko OS for trucha signed games to work (if you updated the wii to 3.3 you will definitely need the Gecko OS for the games to play)

yep but you can down grade now so can i not just do that 2 3.1 or something

yep...downgrade it to 3.1, will work perfect....just make sure you have homebrew channel installed so you can use the teknoconsolas downgrader program

Trucha Signed discs can be played without the use of Gecko OS upto Wii firmware 3.2. At 3.3 GecjoOS is required to load Trucha signed discs

this is true, wii firmware 3.2 is ideal for modchips and homebrew, it gives a lot more options in how you want your wii to operate

right iv got my wii on to 3.2e but still wont play the games without gego os can any1 help
