Is my Nintendo Wii Pal or NTSC?
Hi,
i live in the UAE and have rectently bought a Wii, and i am not sure weather it is Pal or NTSC?
On the box it does not say which one it is, all i know is that it is made in china for Japan, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Having arabic instrutions doesnt help when you cant read Arabic. lol
Please could some one help!!

I want to say that is is a NTSC Japan, since it was made for Japan , but with my luck it is a PAL. xD

Just go into the Wii Settings and look on the top right corner for the Wii firmware version

3.3U = NTSC-U (USA)
3.3E = PAL (Europe)
3.3J = NTSC-J (Jap)

i now know it is NTSC
now for another question
as uae is a PAL area, is there a way to use PAL games?
i know with PS2 you can get it chipped, can you chip a wii?
