Talking What DVD Discs (Brand, -R, +R, -RW, +RW) do you use for your backups and why?

I have had success so far with the following discs:
  • Fuji Film DVD-R 8X
  • TDK DVD+R 16X

I need to order some more discs and I would like to know what other discs have you guys had success with.

Thanks!

Phillips DVD-R (using them for the past 10 years) no problems whatsoever

Now that i have my WiiClip seated properly, i have used:

FUJIFILM DVD-R 16x - (Made in Taiwan) 100% worked, not a single bad burn with either nero or imgburn at 4x burn speed

most of my back ups are done with:
1. Ritek DVD+R
2. Sony DVD+R
3. Verbatim DVD-R

all are working flawlessly, never fail, never had any +R issue.

Ritek and sony......no, why, the wii have problems reading the +R media
Verbatim.....yes, why, because it is -R media and it reads flawless
My observation from all the test i've done to my wii

remember Imation is really for DVD players not gaming systems

I ran out of my FugiFilm DVD-R's so now I am using both:

Verbatim Digital Movie DVD-R - Burned 3 so far, flawless, no problems. Disk is nice, is a tiny bit thicker, (has a better top coating), looks like a movie reel, but is probably better scratch resistant.

Sony DVD+R - Burned 4 so far, flawless, no problems.

FYI, I have a D2pro V2 w/ WiiClip and using an LG external USB burner.
