i looked online and it said that the European release date was TBA 2008 that means that it will come this year but we don't know the date it will come out on but there is another way u can play the ntsc version on the pal wii.

check out this thread. I think u need to have the wii freeloader to play the ntsc version on ur pal wii.

If your wii is at 3.3 then I believe Freeloader will not work, but maybe GeckoOS might.

Hello chaps i have found away to play the game now on a pal console.what i have done is loaded the homebrew channel onto the wii via the dvd disk way, then i have put the latest gecko 107a version downloaded from http://wiibrew.org/wiki/GeckoOS. put it onto a sd card which you put that folder in the apps folder you have created on your sd card.you load the homebrew channel up on the wii then click on start and it will give you a list what you have saved onto the sd card.there you will find the gecko 107a program listed there click on that then it gives you a few options but you just click on load up game.i put the mario super sluggers disk in at the start before i loaded up the homebrew channel.so when you click on load up game on the gecko software it goes straight to the disk and loads the game.the gecko software basically makes the wii region free, brilliant program hope this helps someone.cheers bonesy

I'am thinking about getting the NTSC version of this game as well as there is no PAL version available but I'am not interested in going through all the software/sd card/homebrew channel stuff the OP did.
All I really need to know is; I have a Wiikey v2, will the NTSC version of the game work on my PAL console?
    thanks.

Ok, I installed the Wii Channel and Gecko but there are no options for Gecko and it saids when selected not a vaild Wii application.
I dont have the ntsc version of Sluggers yet but will by tomorrow, do the options only appear when a game is in the drive?
I also have Wad Manager on my sd card and when selected it said the same thing.
Again my wad folder is empty so maybe it needs something there for any selection of options to appear?
I have both programs in my apps folder on my sd card, Gecko using the TP hack folder over the DOL folder as thats how I had to install it.
I couldnt use the iso way to install the Homebrew Channel as I have 3.4E firmware.
