Hey guys....was wondering...to avoid future disappointment/frustration, can't I install most or all IOS's in order to play the games? Also, given that there are games being published as we speak, how often does the WiiHack list of IOS's get updated?
I suppose your right, no sense in having hundreds of IOS's if I don't plan on playing "Sing It Star Summer Party"! I'm going for Bully: Scholarship Edition; I'll get some Verbatim DVDs, burn it at 1X and I'll let you know how it goes in 2048 when it finishes downloading. Thanks, Cile.
Got one of my geek buddies to burn it for me. Game worked fine until the point where, in a cinema scene, the enemy shoots me in the face and the screen stays black. I then get a DVD error 002. Could this mean that certain games come with an anti-piracy protection on it. Also in the WiiHack error list, it suggests I get a new IOS 249. I thought there was only one. S.O.S. por favor
I got cIOS38 r17 on a 4.1U Firmware version...I basically followed all the steps of the New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii tutorial. I got BootMii as an IOS (no choice), but I will say....my geek buddy did not use Verbatim or IMGburn. But if those were a problem, the game should not have loaded up in the first place, right? In any event, I would be able to tell you anything else you need to know (i.e. NeoGamma settings, which I usually do not f&$% with) as I am currently at work and do not have my Wii in front of me. i used bad quality discs to play wii games the game launched and it worked but as soon as the disc got hot i would get that error but using verbatim never ever so .use verbatim dvd-r disc see if it fixes the problem
