i downloaded wanikokos savegame manager. i make a backup of my save for mario kart wii. when i try to install a save for mario kart wii it says ret=-1. what should i do?

You dont need save manager for mario kart. You can simply just back up your save to sd.
If you are wanting to install another save in sd card go to: private/wii/titles/RMCE01 and overwrite one there with one you want to add. Then put sd card back in wii and transfer new save over to wii.
also if it does not let you copy it over, you can have the priiloader hack on to allow you to copy saves that are locked...
