I had to break your post down to make it more manageable, grammar construction helps a lot

Yup - with you so far.

But - you don't mention if it is a HDD for attaching to your Wii to run games off via a USB Loader, so a little confused here.

Where did you test these games, on your Wii or your Dad's Wii, via a DVDR or USB HDD loader?

For what reason would you be doing this?

But you wanted to burn them a second ago, see the confusion you are causing?

Boot up normal or with the HDD attached or put in a DVDR and it "freaks out"

As replies above, so your Dad has a Wii and it all works, so his Wii is soft modded, and yours is too?

When you've managed to calm down and present a logical case for other members to take a look at, no-one will quite know what is wrong.

You're confused??, my head hurts after reading your post a few times

Chill some, it is probably your frustration that is getting the better of you, take it easy and post back in a more informative form when you can.

well i can understand why i caused confusion, i am adding these games because they were burnt discs... my old wii could play burnt discs.. my new one cannot.. so i am adding my old games onto my external HDD thru the pc.. and im extracting them into an iso. i take MY wii to my father's house.. MY WII.. i throw my burnt wii game into the dvd drive... and i make em into a ISO thru magic iso... ok? now when i do this on MY DAD'S PC.. it works.. now i came back home.. and i took MY WII back home with me... i then grab ANOTHER one of my OLD wii games... i do the SAME THING as i did on my dad's pc.. and i add them to the wii thru wbfs 3.0.. i then start up the wi.. i select the game.. and it's a black screen with a bunch of number's.. saying it's "dumping" something.. now i cant exactly explain what it says because i went back to my dad's house and finished adding the games to the external hard drive.. but it seems like i can only add games to the external hard drive through my father's pc. not my own.

Right - first thing you can do the disk adding direct to the Wii USB HDD via USB loader, no need to hook up to a PC just to do that, it seems you are creating extra work here.

So now - does the USB HDD work when attached to your Wii when you are at your place?

The next thing we need to work on is conectivity between the USB HDD and your PC, but let's make sure the USB HDD is working on your Wii first.

yea the hdd works fine on my wii, i got 27 games on there and they all work wonderfuly... and i HAVE to add the games to my external HDD thru wbfs because they were burnt games.. my wii is a newer model.. it doesnt read burnt discs. right now im dling the grudge game.. now this time im not using magiciso to make the burnt game into an ISO.. im jsut dling the iso directly from the internet and then im adding it.. and we will just hafta see what it will do.. all the burnt discs i had were to my old wii about 2 year's ago. not only that but my desktop has been acting kinda funny lately as well.. so this time im going to try to do it through my laptop.

Right - we are getting there now.

ImgBurn creates a better ISO than MagicISO, direct from disc in the DVD Drive:

The Official ImgBurn Website - it's free

Every PC is different, things like AV, FireWall, anti-spyware, fast disk checking, etc they can all have an affect on how your machine & your Dad's machine works, especially those tasks running in the background

You just have to find the programme that works for you on your machine, we could be here all night trying to work out why MagicISO does it differently for you.

And also - did you mark the USB HDD as active on your machine as switching from PC to PC has different settings allocated to the MBR of the USB HDD.

and as far as making it active, i do that thru administrative tools, right?

Right click on My Computer, Manage - Disk Management

Check for your USB HDD - right click on your drive, see if you can click on Mark Partition as Active, it may even show up as a foreign disk - in which case you may need to import it into your PC, even though WBFS sees the disk - your PC may not.
