Does anybody have one of these Nyko controllers?

I was at my local retailer the other day and saw one of these Nyko classic controllers. I was wondering if anybody has one and how good it works, how would your rate it? Any input would be helpful. I have a nintendo classic controller and not impressed with it.

I prefer that PS controller shape to the GC type shape or the bland classic shape.

It's wireless but it's receiver plugs into the Wiimote I think so if you play gamecube games it's not going to work and would also be useless for savemiifrii and bootmii uses.

If this was a gamecube plugged item then I'd be very tempted.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Ditto what Tealc said, I tried the wireless nyko classic controllers and the didn't work for anything I wanted to play so I sold them to my local play'ntrade. They felt really good in hand but just were useless to me. Instead I have gotten the new japanese version of the genuine classic controller as seen below from amazon. This has an xbox/playstation type feel and looks and feels pretty good. I can't give a full review on it yet, because the only thing I tried it with was super mario 64 on the wii64 emulator, and it did not work. But I hesitate to be too critical when using an opensource piece of software for testing. Take a peek at amazon below.

I would like the controller you posted link to

but this controller is not sold at retailers in the USA, I wonder why it is only avaliable in the PAL and JAP region retailers? But thanks for the input on the Nyko controller, no go for homebrew. I thought I read this awhile ago, but couldn't remember which controller it was.

I ordered it from amazon and they shipped it to the US. I'll test it's performance tonight. Any suggestions on what games I should test with?

I test the CLASSIC CONTROLLER PRO last night with the NES and GBA emulator and it worked fine. Of course the analog sticks did not work, but that was expected since those games don't use analog sticks. Wii64 still did not work.

Does anyone know of a game I can test with that will make use of the analog sticks??

To be clear about my original response to your query. My experience was with the wireless version of the nyko. If you are looking at the wired version, I believe it should work just like the traditional classic controller.
